Brief description of works

Eco-1 Electrical Solutions was selected to deliver design and installation of both mechanical and electrical services for the Gruffalo Discovery Land project on behalf of Wates Smart Space. This exciting project involved creating an immersive, themed attraction for visitors to enjoy, incorporating cutting-edge electrical and mechanical systems across various themed areas and attractions.

• Sub Distribution and Final Power: Supplying and distributing power across the entire site to support the various themed attractions.
• Internal Task and Emergency Lighting: Installing energy-efficient lighting solutions for both operational areas and emergency lighting to ensure safety.
• Internal and External Animatronic Power and Control Wiring: Ensuring the power and control systems were in place to bring animatronic characters to life for the immersive experience.
• Themed Stage Lighting: Designing and installing special lighting effects to enhance the atmosphere of the themed spaces.
• Fire Alarm Systems: Installing multiple fire alarms across various themed buildings to ensure visitor and staff safety in line with relevant regulations.

• LPCW (Low Pressure Central Heating) and LPHW (Low Pressure Hot Water): Providing heating solutions for the attraction’s facilities and ensuring a comfortable environment for visitors and staff.
• Extraction Systems: Implementing extraction solutions for air quality and ventilation, particularly in areas requiring specific environmental conditions.
• Themed Toilet Block Heating and Extraction: Installing tailored systems for a new themed toilet block, keeping the area comfortable and well-ventilated.
• Snake Vivarium: A bespoke heating system was designed and installed to maintain critical temperatures within the snake vivarium and public viewing areas, ensuring a safe environment for both the reptiles and the visitors observing them.
